Did not receive email confirmation code

In the registration process, you did not receive a confirmation code after providing your email address.

When It Happens

On the sign up page, after you provide your Email address and click the send verification code button, you should receive an email that gives you a code that you will need to type into the sign in page.

Possible Reasons

  • Email filtering 
    • Your email system might be blocking theorem.io
    • Your email system might be blocking mirosoftonline.com or identifying the email as a threat. Theorem uses Microsoft as an identity provider and this is a legitimate email.
  • The app does not automatically resend a verification code if you are attempting registration after the first time. 
  • We may block certain email domains, especially non-corporate domains and shared e-mail services.
  • Network or system issues.

Troubleshooting Steps

Try these first:

  1. Click the send another code button and check your email in 1 to 3 minutes.
  2. Make sure theorem.io and mirosoftonline.com are not blocked by your email client or by your email system administrator.
  3. Type the email address instead of pasting it. Make sure there are no spaces and special characters.
