Creation Error Troubleshooting

We understand error messages can be frustrating. Here is how you can solve a Creation Error if you experience it on our app.

When It Happens

Creation Error occurs after you click the save or create button for a new object, such as a FTP site, automation, account, or cross reference.

Possible Reasons

  • Your browser has lost a connection to our site or your user session has timed out while you were filling in the form to create the object.
  • Permission related issues. You might not have the ability to save or create the object desired, or your software license does not include what you are trying to do.
  • Something has recently changed. Another user is trying to create the same thing you are creating, or something on the form you are filling out has changed.
  • Internal issues with the Theorem application.

Troubleshooting Steps

  1. Click cancel or abandon and see if the object you are trying to create was actually created. If so, no further troubleshooting is required but feel free to contact us if this issue frequently occurs.
  2. Check to make sure you are still signed in. Click the refresh button on your browser, and/or navigate to the home page. If you are having issues or are signed out, the system will inform you. Sign back in and try to create the object again.
  3. Try to create the object a second time and see if the error occurs again.
  4. If you are a standard user, contact your local administrator (the owner or manager of your online account) and see if they can do what you are trying to do.
