Harvest Transition for Thales Trading Solutions FAQ

The Harvest experience for customers of Thales Trading Solutions is getting better! These are the frequently asked questions about what to expect in the upgrade process.

 

This FAQ applies specifically to existing clients of Thales Trading Solutions who use the Harvest post-trade app at harvest.thales.com or receive post trade data from Thales Trading Solutions.

What is being upgraded and how does it work?

What is being upgraded and how does it work?

Everything!

The current Harvest app that is used for post-trade data aggregation, trade matching, allocations, reporting, and market risk has been completely rebuilt. The new system is designed to provide the same functionality in a faster, easier, and more powerful experience.

The upgrade process will involve:

  1. Communication.  Thales needs to understand how you currently rely on the existing app.

  2. Transition. Based on how you use the app and it's criticality, we will present every customer with a transition timeline that includes the opportunity to see the new tech, test any mission critical artifacts, and switch to the new app.  

  3. Optimization.  The transition process is an excellent opportunity to learn about innovations that you can benefit from and potentially off-board any existing processes that you have outgrown or no longer need.

Will I need to register again for the new app?

Yes. When your upgrade is available, your CSR will contact you and guide you through the process. You (and any colleagues) will need to create a new online account with the new app.

What is the time line?

Most new users will be fully transitioned to the new app by Jan 1, 2026.

What is happening to Harvest?

Harvest is the white labeled name of the Theorem post trade app that is currently used by clients of Thales Trading Solutions. 

In order to streamline the experience and focus more on innovation, Thales and Theorem have decided to drop the Harvest white label starting with the new app. 

Theorem Technologies LLC is currently an affiliate of Thales Trading Solutions LLC and this arrangement is NOT changing. There is no legal entity changeover as part of this transition.

Theorem has created a new app from the ground up to service the post-trade requirements of Thales Trading Solutions customers, but without the Harvest Brand.

Does this change affect customer support or the people that I deal with?

No. You will continue to deal with the same experts and professionals that you communicate with today. Any service levels you have will not change. 

How do I guarantee that my mission critical processes do not change?

Thales has prepared an analysis of all clients' use of the existing system, but it is essential to identify and confirm how you use the system as soon as possible.

What do I need to do to start using the new app?

After Thales has reviewed your needs with you, we will set up your environment in our app and invite you to register in our system.

  • All customers that need post-trade technology systems from Thales Trading Solutions must have at least one user register on the system. 
  • As is the case now, access will be provided via web browser login.
  • Customers may login as frequently as they like to access post trade reports or use the system to receive automated data.

Can I opt-out of the new app?

Yes. As is the case now, Thales Trading Solutions does not require any of it's customers to register or use any of the technology available to it's customers. Please let us know if you are no longer interested in online access or receiving post-trade reporting.

Recipients of Automated Data and Reports Must Register

Clients that wish to receive automated reports via SFTP, API, or e-mail must have at least one user registered.  Receiving or sending data to us is part of the app experience.

Can I still use the existing Harvest app?

No. The existing Harvest app will be turned off and all data transferred to the new app in early 2026. All users that want to maintain continuity of service must move to the new app. Our Customer Service Representatives will be in contact to give you plenty of time.
